Dr. Ugochukwu is a Senior Economist, Policy Fellow and international development professional at the Centre for the Study of Science and Innovation Policy, Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy of the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He has 19+ years of professional experience in government and agri-food sector with expertise in food security, public policy, international trade, vaccine genomics, monitoring and evaluation, rural development, agricultural value chains and market development, project management, stakeholder engagement/negotiation, and capacity building. His research has focused on food security and safety, market development, value chains, technology adoption and commercialization. He has participated in various research projects funded by governments and international donor agencies, and has consulted for several international development agencies, including: USAID, World Bank, UN Agencies, DFID, African Development Bank, and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
