Masi Aslahishahri

PhD Candidate
Department of Computer Science, University of Saskatchewan

Masi is a PhD candidate in Computer Science deparment at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research interests are in deep learning and computer vision. Her dissertation is in an interdisciplinary field in which multispectral aerial images in crops with deep learning techniques are used to identify defects and characterize plant's quality. Focusing on aerial images in different spectral bands can provide spectral signatures for each pixel which help farmers or breeders to understand the field behavior under different circumstances. She is a member of the Plant Phenotyping and Imaging Research Centre at the University of Saskatchewan.
