Thuan Ha is a Research Associate in Crop Imaging and Agronomy Lab, Department of Plant Science, University of Saskatchewan. He has a doctoral degree in Soil Science and MSc in Environmental Science. He has nearly 20 years of experience in spatial data analysis and nearly 10 in precision agriculture area. His recent work includes (1) develop workflow for AUV-based plant phenometric extraction; (2) evaluate the potential use of satellite and AUV imagery in crop phenotyping and weed mapping (3) predict soil salinity using machine learning and satellite images; (4) develop canola yield prediction methods using crop phenology.
